When a junior salesman becomes part of the sales team within a car company, one often does so with the thought that this person will be included in his development by his colleagues and manager. This is true for the processes, but too often personal development is lacking. The result is that the qualities present are insufficiently revealed and the investment that the car company makes in this person does not sufficiently repay itself. Methodology

In our Junior sales training, we proceed according to logical steps.

We start by visualizing the skills and development opportunities of the junior salesperson. This is done with the proven method of Sales Colors.

The results of the assessment are discussed online with the junior and his immediate supervisor.

Mee based on the assessment and the accompanying feedback, we ask the salesperson to map out, according to a set format, which behaviors might get in the way of results.

At the same time, the junior salesman may work with his supervisor to identify what behaviors are desirable to operate successfully.

Through the Scan and Input, a good self-image has been created and now we are going to follow this up with subject-specific face-to-face training on site.

During the training, required commercial skills are taught. These are supplemented by subject-specific components.

This content is spread over 5 training days. In order for the days not to be self-contained, participants will have the opportunity to communicate daily challenges with each other via an app group. Furthermore, they will receive assignments at the end of a training day to engage in daily practice.

Training Location

We are convinced that a good location contributes to the success of training. We therefore consciously choose to train in an automotive environment. This feeds the feeling with the industry and supports during the necessary role-plays.

Realizing that we are bringing together people from different brands and organizations, we chose to host the training at a non-brand company. In a very luxurious setting, participants undergo the training in an enclosed room while right outside the training room are the cars used to practice with the practical cases.

Participants in the Training Junior sales come from all parts of the country. As the most central city in the Netherlands, Amersfoort is a logical choice to make the travel distance acceptable for everyone. The start of the training is 9:30 a.m. so that any traffic jams need not be a major obstacle in the journey.

Investment

The training is designed for a maximum of 6 participants per training session. Thus, each salesperson gets personal attention and plenty of opportunity to practice. It is an open enrollment. As soon as the number of participants is complete, a new training round will start and the dates will be communicated. The training takes place on weekdays.
